The pieces include heavily padded arms, inside backs, and edge roll for comfort.  The Comfort Coil Seat Cushion features a 2.0 density foam core with 50-60 pocketed micro coils per seat, wrapped in Dacron fiber and inserted in a cotton ticking for extra comfort.
